Excerpt

The world needs your voice. MINE? YES, YOURS.
If you see someone lonely...SAY SOMETHING...by just being there for them.
Some people find it easier to SAY SOMETHING than others...but everyone has something to say.

Say Something! is a beautifully illustrated, inspirational book about advocacy as well as self-empowerment. Reynolds is cognizant of the ease and unease of young people speaking out about what they observe around them. In fact, encouragement permeates this book; speak out even when no one is listening, speak out when you are ready, speak with words as well as actions.

Using soothing colours, watercolour-like yet vibrant images, the illustrations often tell the story; they are woven into the fabric of the book, making the story sing. Say Something! supports any lesson or discussion on social change and the citizen’s role in it.
